2020 goes on impassively and we are still immersed in outbreaks and freedom restrictions within society, with our two clubs and record store closed due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, our nature of resistance and strong mentality carries over to this second volume. An association of artists related to our collective coming from all corners of the Iberian Peninsula as well as from the Balkans, representing their own personal movements, labels and collectives.
Producer Osill, coming from the Red Home school (Jm.Aboga) takes us into the deep, melancholic and round landscapes of dub techno, perfectly reproducing the most classic canons of the style in “Untitled I”.
The Madrid duo UHF (David Aragón + Milford) board on “Endless Illusion” with the mission of distorting our reality with the blow of a break and show us a crystalline future through a solid mantra of evolving synths and pads surrounded by ethereal melodies.
If the urban elements of a dark near future had a sound representation, they would be a tangible and faithful reflection of "Embrace The Dark Side", a creation by Negocius Man, where he teaches us, through its forcefulness, the implicit beauty of the dark side of any creation.
The love theme of the prom at a robot institute in year 3000 comes from the Kraftwerk inspired euphoric synths and vocoders of Dark Vektor, with whose “Tanzliebe” hits us again with a compendium of a rendered universe typical harmonies.
Large-Scale Aggressor is the new incarnation of Amper Clap, laying the foundation of its new pseudonym with this “Ally or Enemy” and by using thick and frosted broken rhythms, emotional as well as brilliant synths reinforced by post-apocalyptic bass lines and vocals.
Ephemeral unions generate beautiful and authentic products, “Silent Love” synthesizes the power of techno fused with the emotionality of melodic electro, a creation by Mutant Cassette (Jose Sáez + Cascales) where they insufflate this track with an ascending vortex of pure euphoria.
Siarem returns to HC Records with a pure yet evolved EBM reminding us Front 242's best b-sides but with 21st century sharpness and definition, rugged bass-lines and vocals encouraging urban combat.
From Serbia, Alavux lands in Valencia with “Time Shifter 03”. A metallic, rough, mechanical and industrial electro track leaving us without a rest and recorded in a single take where the primary impulse prevails over planning, providing greater strength to the track.
The longest track in the compilation is provided by Abiz Sonko, who over eight minutes develops an emotional but also metallic Techno that converges in a slow-cadence hymn called “Army Of The Broken Souls”.
Mysterious Group drag us once again into the most mechanical and industrialized mud in “200713_0677” where forcefulness, minimalism and a horizon loaded with steam reflect the tireless hammering of Techno.
The most acid and refined vision of the most constructive and current Techno is provided by 9n9u9e9v9e9 in “R.H.P Landing on Thelisto”.
The return to the streets of a near future comes from the hand of Kastelian, Domingo Dark Vinyl’s new pseudonym, in “Ghetto Cyberpunkers”. Dirty breaks, energetic synths with a vintage aroma and a conjunction of old school street voices.
Finally, The Lost Boys’ second appearance is a faithful reflection of the urban, rude and combative present in which we live, which looks back on past times without losing the futuristic and innovative sense of offering what is incompatible in principle. Rap lines, thunderous bass drums, acid synths and 90s memories come together in “Control The Beat”.
2020 continúa impasible su curso, inmersos en rebrotes y restricción de libertades en la sociedad. Pero el carácter de resistencia y la mentalidad fuerte se traslada a este nueva entrega de LA RESISTENCIA Vol II. Special Edition XV anniversary Hypnotica Colectiva. Una asociación de artistas afines a nuestro colectivo desde todos los rincones de la Península y desde los Balcanes, representando a sus propios movimientos personales, sellos y colectivos.
Osill nos adentra en los paisajes profundos, melancólicos y redondos del dub techno, reproduciendo a la perfección los cánones más clásicos del estilo en “Untitled I”. El dúo madrileño UHF (David Aragón + Milford) se embarcan en “Endless Illusion” en la misión de conseguir distorsionar nuestra realidad a golpe de break y mostrarnos un futuro cristalino a través de un solido mantra de sintes y pads evolutivos envueltos por melodías etéreas.
Si los elementos urbanos de un oscuro futuro cercano tuvieran representación sonora serían un reflejo tangible y fiel de “Embrace The Dark Side” creación de Negocius Man donde nos enseña a través de su contundencia, la belleza implícita del lado tenebroso de cualquier creación.
El tema de amor del baile de fin de curso de un instituto de robots del año 3000, llega desde los eufóricos sintes y vocoders de inspiración Kraftwerkriana de Dark Vektor que con “Tanzliebe” vuelve a golpearnos con un compendio de armonías propias de un universo renderizado.
Large-Scale Agresor es la nueva encarnación de Amper Clap que con Ally or Enemy sienta la base de su nuevo seudónimo, ritmos rotos gruesos y esmerilados, sintes emocionales a la par que brillantes reforzados por bajos y voces post apocalípticas.
Uniones efímeras generan productos bellos y auténticos, esto sintetiza “Silent Love” la potencia del techno fusionada con la emotividad del electro melódico, creación de Mutant Cassette (Jose Sáez + Cascales) que insuflan a este track un vórtice ascendente de pura euforia.
Siarem regresa a HC Records con un puro y a la vez evolucionado EBM que nos recuerda a las mejores caras b de Front 242 pero con la nitidez y definición del siglo 21, bajos rugosos y voces que alientan hacia el combate urbano.
Desde Serbia aterriza en Valencia Alavux con “Time Shifter 03” un electro: metálico, rudo, mecánico e industrial sin un instante de respiro y grabado en una sola toma donde el impulso primario prima sobre la planificación, aportando mayor fuerza al track.
El larga duración de la compilación lo aporta Abiz Sonko, quien a lo largo de ocho minutos desarrolla un Techno emocional a la par que metálico que confluye en un himno de cadencia pausada llamado “Army Of The Broken Souls”.
El misterioso Group vuelve a arrastrarnos al barro más maquinal e industrializado en “200713_0677” donde la contundencia, minimalismo y un horizonte cargado de vapor reflectan el martilleo incansable del Techno.
La visión más ácida y refinada del Techno más constructivo y actual es aportada por 9n9u9e9v9e9 en “R.H.P Landing on Thelisto”.
La vuelta a las calles de un futuro cercano viene de mano de Kastelian nuevo seudónimo de Domingo Dark Vinyl en “Ghetto Cyberpunkers”, breaks sucios, sintes energéticos con aroma vintage y una conjunción de voces callejeras old school.
La segunda manifestación de The Lost Boys es un fiel reflejo del presente urbano, rudo y combativo en el que vivimos, que rememora tiempos pasados sin perder el sentido futurista e innovador de ofrecer lo que en principio es incompatible. Líneas de rap, bombos atronadores, sintes ácidos y reminiscencias noventeras conjugan en “Control The Beat”.
